I want to break free (2021) cyanotypes 15x26 cm approx.

These cameraless cyanotypes are made with the humidity in my basement and the products I use in my lost battles against it, including baking soda, sea salt, bleach and the mysterious contents of different humidity-control sachets labelled DO NOT OPEN. Left to rest in dark corners for days, weeks or months, the iron-based cyanotype solution reacts to the different products, while the humidity gathered over time and weather conditions affect the development process in unpredictable ways. Letting go of control brings out possibilities that are yet to be fully explored, images not yet imagined, ways of seeing and making photographs which have little to do with representation.
