Cristina Sáez works with cameraless photography and other visual media to explore how people perceive and relate to their environment, and how different ways of portraying the world relate to our understanding of our place in it.
She addresses current environmental and social issues using 19th century analogue photographic processes in innovative ways. Born in Bilbao, Spain (1979), based in Roveredo, Switzerland. Cristina holds an MA in Photography and Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths London (UK). and a BA in Psychology from the Universidad de Deusto (Spain). |
